Hey, would love to hear from anyone in Ottawa who has undergone the surgery.

I have been on a waiting list for a consult about 8 months now with no consult date in sight I was also told that it will be 3 years before I can have the surgery here so I have made the decision to get my sleeve done in Mexico. Anyone who has done the same I would live to hear from you.

Just had my sleeve surgery at Ottawa Hospital 2 weeks ago. Very good experience overall, but having a few issues adjusting to the new diet. Some foods just seems to go down a whole lot easier than others, so just wondering if anyone else out there has had similar issues because it seems hard to even eat one scrambled egg now and the whole pureed diet thing I find kinda disgusting.
