Endoscopy today.

This is the step I was most worried about. It was a breeze. They brought me into the room, the anesthesiologist gave me something "to make this go easier" and next thing I knew I woke up in the recovery room. Just wanted to post this in case anyone else is really nervous about this part.

Yea I made it through the upper endoscopy today no big deal actually surprise to me considering I'm a huge weenie when it comes to any medical kind of stuff! Getting set up with the nurse was what took the longest I think I waited about an hour and a half before they actually did the procedure and the next thing I knew I was going home!

That's exactly how it was for me. I got myself so worked up for nothing. Glad everything went well for you!!!

I didn't have to do much really I just couldn't eat past midnight the night before or drink past 6 a.m. This morning. They were really nice and it was over really quickly. I of course don't remember a thing the anesthesia was really good

I couldn't eat or drink 8 hours before. I also couldn't take any of my meds except my blood pressure meds.
