Hi I'm new here.. I would like to post my journey from start to end... I'm ready !! Yes... After trying to get approved by my insurance in nj and denied. I decide to go to mexico! Actually I will be having my sleeve surgery with doctor hector perez corzo in cancun... I decide cancun because is closer to home less expensive to travel .. And also the whole idea of tijuana was not my thing.. I love cancun is beautiful will be visiting for second time.. Now I've hear some good things about this doctor .. I also know I cant expect the clinic to be like the states but I sure hope is clean for most ... I will be be there for total of 6 days .. To make sure everything is fine before I come back... .. If anyone had some tips or has been there please re post.. Thanx.

Did you go through with it? I've only just started to research and I'm terrified. I can't find many reviews on this doctor. The ones I do find are either really good or really bad. It's hard to know what to think!!!

I finally got a full time job(yay!), so I am going to wait and see if my insurance will cover it first. I happened to be in Cancun last week, so I went by and visited the clinic. It's a small clinic, but was immaculately clean. I didn't meet the doctor, just the office staff. The manager showed me all around, including the patient rooms, surgery suite(through a window) and their supply closets. If my insurance won't cover it, I will defintely go to Clinica Victoria for the surgery.

Well, looks like I'll be headed to Cancun for surgery in March. I wish it was sooner so that I had less time to be nervous, but that is the first time I could get off of work.
