Beef Jerky

So I've stumbled upon these steak strips (extra thick cut) that I think are fantastic.

Since surgery 7 months ago I've had trouble with Protein shakes. I rely on lean protein vs. shakes. These steak strips are high in protein and are helping me hit my daily goals.

Like with any beef Jerky the sodium levels are high - so I have to keep track of it daily in comparison to other things I eat.

Does anyone else use this as a snack/protein supplement?

It's funny you said that - was looking on eBay for a dehydrator. I could do my own meats and fruits too :-).

I just got a dehydrator from Amazon and the jerky gun and kit. I haven't made any yet but plan to shortly
