My bmi was 32 and lost 60lbs in 6mths. Its better to loose slower. I still got really soft and lost a lot of muscle though. I didnt work out or lift weights either.

oh ok do you wish you would have worked out to get firmer?

Yes, but I felt too weak then. I wasn't getting in enough calories or protein. I feel so much better now.

My BMI was 36/37 and I have lost 57 lbs to date (surgery was February 24, 2013). I have been walking since surgery and am now doing high intensity workouts. Make sure I get my protein each day too. I am not soft or saggy. I think my weight loss has been a little slower because I am gaining muscle. Hope to lose the last 35 lbs by October. You will be fine!
