Negative for pylori

Finally after paying $572 for pylera i am H Pylori free.. Now have to pay $300 to get the okay for surgery.. Hopefully soon. Did anyone have to pay the Dr Office to start the insurance authorization process?

No - I had three different dr office check my insurance for approval and final costs - none of them charged me anything to start this process.

I haven't had to pay for submission to the insurance (it may be legit, but you should ask your insurance provider about that. It could be a no no---years ago a new doctor attempted to pull a fast one separating me from my $--I called the insurance co, and they told me his request was illegal, and after they dealt with him, he called us with a "my bad?" kind of attitude....Luckily he wasn't my surgeon......and I told him where he could go--mama didn't raise no fool LOL). Good luck!

Sounds like scam to be or a big office type operation not small surgeon
