Question for Dr.C -compression garment?

I was wondering what you thought about someone using a compression garment for swelling, etc. after the lap band surgery. I used one after my tummy tuck and used a wrap type compression after my 2 C sections. I was reading on the bandsters group that there doctors gave them these type of wrap garments to help with swelling and help with port pain.

    I don't really see a need for them after a lap band, I don't think they would help that much - seems like my patients have more pain that is gas-related which the garments wouldn't help at all.
