I had a lot of difficulties with my sleeve surgery ....and so when I came home I needed a nurse and still do every day......I spent 5 months in the hospital and am now 3months home........so eight months out of the first surgery....
Saturday a nurse came that had seen me the first week I got home and then saw me again this Saturday...she did not recognize me at all...
She made me tell her my full name and my birthday.....I thanked her for being so kind and she replied....I am not being kind...I'm serious I do not know you....
Today my regular nurse came and she told me that the other nurse marked in the log that she did not know it was me...See she said I am not the only one that has noticed the huge changes in you....
Then she told me that she was very proud of me....I am their first patient that they have ever seen who has had the sleeve...They knew nothing about it until I needed their help..
It made me feel so good that I have come this far.......Good girl Jane...I am proud of myself....LOL
