Hunger pains

I had surgery 5-8-13. So far so good. I am starting to try all solid foods per my Dr. Orders. I had minimal pain and no complications to this point. I have only found that dried fruit and granola bars don't work for me anymore. I get all my protein and most if not all of my fluid. I feel like I am constantly either eating/drinking. I am losing well having lost 35 pounds since surgery. I take my prescribed vitamin and antacid BUT... I always have hunger pains/stomach rumblings!! What else can I do. I thought we weren't suppose to be hungry anymore?? Any help appreciated. Thanks!
