Right now I'm eating a high protein, low carb, low calorie food plan and it's working. I've lost 9 lbs in 3 weeks. Started eating like this to get a jump start on the weight loss and get used to tracking and eating less. It hasn't been that bad. I've wanted this surgery for awhile now, just had to come up with the funds. So was finally going to schedule my surgery for the middle of July in Mexico, but found out I need to help my daughter move the first week in August. It's 9 hours away. Can't do that 3 weeks after surgery! So now can't schedule it until middle of August. Now I'm having doubts about if I should do it. I mean, I'm losing now with the changes I've made. So why not keep on doing what I'm doing? I think I have a different mind set this time. I've resigned myself to the fact that if I'm going to lose weight and keep it off, I'm going to have to track my eating for the rest of my life. I'm doing that now and don't hate it anymore. Or am I just fooling myself? Guess I have another few weeks to decide before I would schedule the surgery for August.
