Initial consult

I went for my initial consult on Thursday, June 13. I have already completed my 6 month supervised diet, EGD, PCP referral. I met with the dietician and had my psychiatric consult on Thursday. He wants me to get a cardiac clearance. I will be working on that. They estimate it may be around the first of September for a surgery date. I'm so excited!!!

    That is exciting! You already have so many requirements completed. I have to meet with the bariatric clinic every two weeks until September. The surgery should be soon after. I had the initial consultation and then my first official meeting with the nutritionist last week.

    Are you continuing on your diet in the lead up to the surgery? Were you impressed with the people you met this past week?
