These bottles of slim fast are so small! I don't want to mess up but I feel like I could eat my arm!!! Any suggestions??? I'm trying to fill up on water....

  • At least you can eat veggies and fruit, most people are on liquid only!!

  • That is so true. I think I am realizing how much time I spend focusing on food. Time to pick up some hobbies!!!! Thanks!

I start mine wed. My diet is clear liquids, SF jello, SF Popsicles and 1-3 advantage protein drinks. That's it. :-(. More nervous about the preop than the surgery itself! Lol

Chellennunley, I'm right there with ya lol. Honestly, it hasn't been as bad as I thought it was going to be...just find things to keep yourself busy :)

Slimfast? Are they joking? Get on the web and go to Unjury and or Bariatric Advantage sites. Order yourself some REAL protein powders, mix them in a blender with some skim milk and I think you will be amazed at the difference in how you feel. Spring for the overnight shipping. You don't have to be that miserable.

I started yesterday, its been alot better than I thought it would be. My son went to camp, so I knew I would not be cooking for him for a few days, and that has helped a lot! I was told after day 3, its all good. Here's hoping! When I get hungry, I eat a popsicle or drink some Water. Its helping so far...We got this!

I am on my next to the last day of preoperative. My surgery is thurs. I have been doing one premiere protein shake for breakfast, one shake for lunch, one serving lean protein and non-starchy vegetables for dinner. I have been drinking a lot of water and walking each day. The water and the walking seem to help me with hunger. I really, really don't want to have to lose the same weight twice.
