Surgery June 19th

Hi everyone I am new to this forum and am booked in for Surgery in the 19th of July.. I have been anxious and nervous, I feel I'm going to miss food. Don't get me wrong I can't wait to have the procedure and start my new journey... ????

You will miss it, but so many great things happen that it won't last long. I see a commercial for a juicy burger and I want it. Before the commercial ends, I have lost interest.

While I miss food, I also know that (a) I'll be able to take a bite of everything I miss eventually - and, literally, only a bite sometimes and (B) I had enough of that food for the last 32 years! I'm with futureloser above - while food smells and looks good around me (on TV, on my boyfriend's plate, etc.), I'm just over it. Cravings are temporary :)
