Sleeved May 2.....

I dont know where to begin. This last month since my sleeve has beem so hard on me. Im still just nibbling n even when I do that I get a sense of restriction in my lower throat, upper stomach area. I generally do not 'feel good.' I keep hoping amd telling myself, give it time. When I came out of surgery I weighed 223. Now I'm at 192. That is my only joy. I wish I could be more enthusiastic like most threads I've seen but I can't yet. Again, maybe in six months. Rt now, I'm hard to live with bc #1 I don't feel good and #2 I'm a single mom of four n its been hard to work (my job is taxing to healthy individuals) so finances are getting slim. Please pray for me, those of you who are believers. I just want to feel normal again instead of feeling like I have a rock stuck somewhere. Im never 'hungry' im just empty n hurting, then after the smallest intake Im full of air n hurting. I chew so slow my jaws are tired but i still get gas n hv lost the ability to burp. Im still vomitting every day at least once, regardless of whether I've eaten or not n I'm very 'let down' by this process. If I had it to do over again, I would NOT. But again...ask me in six months. Wish I had a better post. I do enjoy reading all the wonderful posts here though.

I feel your pain honey. I will keep you in my prayers and feel free to message me at any time. I was sleeved May 20th and sadly I have to start on Clear liquids once again. I honestly feel like just bursting into tears. I feel like nobody understands me. With my husband deployed and not being able to talk to him I'm having serious food withdrawals and me being an emotional eater I just want a cupcake, a slice of pizza and a Mountain Dew. Ive found the thought of regret passing my mind a few times. This is so hard ):

And just thinking I have to start over again from clear liquids just sucks so bad. I don't even get hungry. I've lost 11 lbs and barely have any bowel movements. I just feel terrible emotionally and physically.

SmallSpaces, have you contacted your Doctor about vomiting, etc?

I was sleeved on May 9th and I am doing well, please get medical attention.

I was sleeved on 5/23. I did well on the liquid diet, but now that I'm adding soft foods, it is a challenge. Certain foods like eggs go down ok. But almost any type of Protein - chicken, fish is difficult. I chew very well, but do have a feeling of pressure/pain in my stomach/throat as it works its way down. I can only eat about 1/8th of a cup or 2 bites and I'm done. As a result, my calories are normally around 500 - 600/day. I am still using Protein shakes because I wouldn't get anywhere near the right amount of protein without it.

You're in my prayers. It is a difficult switch from the old way of eating. Do contact your surgeon about the daily vomiting.
