I sure hope not !!! When are you getting sleeved ??

June 12 :) two days to go

Most of us that are obese, feel that the foods we consumed have an addictive quality to them. Therefore we are addicted to food.

I as a food addict ate to the point of pain. Often spending evenings eating and waiting for the fullness to go away so I could eat some more.

Those sessions were always full of guilt but it didn't stop me. It, for the most part just made me feel even worse so I would eat more...

As for the guilt after being sleeved?

That's a good question, I don't know if I've ever thought about it. I will first say I cannot eat as much to feel the extreme guilt that I felt before.

But there is a sense of guilt when I make a poor food choice (like chips). And I still have a bit of a struggle with "wanting" to eat large amounts of food. Not that I do, because I can't! But I still feel that compulsion at night especially to eat.

These are all things I work on and others may have to work on too.
