It's a protein powder lol. I havent had surgery yet so I haven't received the pre op diet instructions but I'm just curious as to how much protein we should look for in shakes etc.

ok..lol...I did so much research on the various protein powders out there pre-op, so I am surprised I hadn't heard of that one..my post-op program for the first week was clear liquid and called for a special type of protein for that short period...I used Isopure, and there were like 40g of protein in each bottle...now that I am using protein powders, a scoop has around 20g...the ready-to-drink ones I've explored have a little less per bottle...I just can't tolerate the RTD ones, so I use the powder and blend it with ice and other things in my Ninja

I use syntha-6 and it is so delicious!!! I get chocolate and use like 5 ice cubes and 1 cup fat free milk. It tastes like a chocolate milkshake!!

Awesome! Do you have the regular syntha-6 or the isolate???

I use Syntha 6 vanilla ice cream flavor whey protein. It's pretty good. Kind of sweet, though. I like it better than the Wal Mart brand vanilla I have.

Regular syntha-6. I also found if I think it's too sweet to add decaf coffee to it :)
