Pre op diet vomiting, any recommendations?

So I started my pre-op diet today.

It consist of 1 Protein shake for Breakfast

1 for lunch

And a small portion salad with chicken or fish or egg with a small amount of ranch or low fat ranch or olive oil.

So far I threw up the first Protein Shake, I didn't think much of it so I continued to do exercise and then for lunch I had my protein shake again.. And threw up. I'm not sure what's going on. I haven't had my salad yet but I am dying to eat !

I emailed my coordinator but he has yet to email me. Does anyone recommend anything also should I add I am in Mexico for me pre op diet staying with my aunt. So this was the only protein shake I could find I didn't have any options.

I know some people take brothes and or some people eat. Low carb meals? Do you think it'll be an issue? Please can anyone give me any advice ?
