Dr. Geiss, Long Island

Hi everyone...

I'm new to the site and was wondering if anyone had their surgery done by Dr. Geiss and paid out of pocket. Do you have any idea what the procedure costs? Thanks...

Ron Cusano: I am interested in coming to the support meeting tonight in E. Northport. As long as everything goes as planned I'll be there.

That great Denise! I personally can't be there tonight but the other will. We will be in the room in the rear. You can't miss it.

That is great! I hope you can make the meeting Wed. night! It would be nice to meet you!

I have my first meeting with Dr Geiss tomorrow.

I met Dr Geiss today. I was very impressed with his office, the helpful and friendly nature of his staff. I didn't really walk away with much of a vibe on 'him' but I'm sure he's had to do that little introductory ‘meeting’ a million times. I know I have confidence in his abilities and the availability of his staff.

I've done A LOT of research on the band and I knew they could tell that when I was there. They answered all of my questions and I didn't end up wasting any time with repetitive information.

I'm a little overwhelmed right now .... so many tests and so much information to absorb!

My daughter used Dr. Geiss and was very happy with him. Everything went off without a hitch. The pre-op testing can be overwelming but it's for your protection. Just start and focus on one thing at a time and before you know it, it will be over. We have all been through it so we know what it feels like. Here's wishing you the best on your "Band" journey!:clap2:

Surgery 8/27/07 w/ Dr Geiss!

woo-hoo!!!!!

Candle- Goodluck with surgery. I was banded by Dr. Geiss 7/31/07- I just had my first post op and everything is going very well.

Ron,

When is the next support meeting. How was August? I was to early post op to attend. All has been going well since my surgery. Looking forward to the next support meeting. Do you remember the name of the woman I was speaking to at the July meeting. She was the one who lost over 100lbs and only had 1 fill. She was so helpful to me that night. I really took to heart everything she said to me and the advise she gave me has been so helpful. I cant wait to see her just to thank her.
