May 29th

Hello my name is Elisa Jones. I am 33 years old and about 250 lbs. i lost weight following biggest loser but due to a tragedy that has left me a widow of 3 children ages 17, 13 and 12 I have started gaining it back. This is very frustrating to me right now but I am scheduled to have surgery may 29th. I as well have struggled with my weight for many years. And now I want to b able to do something for myself. This is it. I have only told 2 people (one if which had this surgery already) as I don't have much of a support system since my parents have up on me when I was little and my husband is now gone. My children don't quite understand I'm all they have left and I want to b healthy for many years to come. I hope I can meet a few people on here and have the journey of a lifetime. Very excited to have this transformation and a new lifestyle.

I just know that you are going to do wonderful!!! I had my surgery April 8th and I do not regret it one bit! It was hard the first few weeks but then things start to fall back into routine and get better! Especially since you will be around your children! One of my brother in laws passed away a day after my surgery. It overwhelmed me. I was of no help to my family during this horrible time in our life. I was unable to go to viewing nor the funeral so its been a very hard struggle. i knew my family had to be with my sister in law during this time but being home alone with no one here made my first week at home just plain old miserable- I still haven't really allowed myself to just acknowledge what happened and cry. I can only imagine what you are going thru. You are doing what's best for your health and your children- the same reasons I decided to have my surgery. I look foward to making friends with you and perhaps keeping in touch- we will get past the tough beginning together! :D
