I had to switch my insurance in November (something about our zip code). I went with Mutual of Omaha. I sent them my paperwork the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and I got a call last friday the 8. I can't believe how fast they were. I had been fighting BCBS since April. I don't even have my insurance card yet. I hope to be able to make an appointment for mid to late Janurary.

That is great! I too got approved yesterday!!! I'm with United Healthcare and my paperwork was submitted somewhere betwwon 11/22 and 12/1, and it they have already approved me. I'll be a January Bandster too!

Especially since you had bc/bs earlier. I had them too and I got tired of jumping through they're hoops and self paid. I hate bc/bs, we pay them 619.00 per month for my husband and myself and they wouldn't even pay for my flu shot. Congrats on your upcoming surgeries.
