Im so hard on myself

So about a week ago I committed to keeping my net carbs under 22 and to get my 60 g of protein finally.

I've made 2 desserts for my family (all healthy-ish versions of stuff) and I've skipped it all. Until tonight. Tonight I made banana bran muffins with nuts. I picked the smallest one and ate it. It was a whim and I realized that I hadn't waited 15 minutes after drinking. I also ate the muffin fast. Uhoh. This means its probably coming back up. And a few bites did actually. I also went and did a ttapp "hoedown" (on YouTube) for carb busting. I feel bad about myself a little when I eat junk on a whim.

I mean here I am working out 4 days a week and trying so hard to stay low carb. I'm researching heartrate monitors and planning c25k when It warms up in central mo. What did I go and do that for?

We're all human and we have to live in this world and we'll all have weak moments. Whatever.

Now I commit to ONLY healthy desserts for the family.

Amy I agree you are to hard on yourself!

Babe, you are doing great, you are living and learning everyday, like all of us here :)

I would also fail in that situation. My family will have to get used to eating fruit cups with sugar free whipped cream:) They can eat their junk but I ain't making it.

Amy - crap happens. You've been working hard at it, and it will pay off. Slipping up is going to happen, hell none of us tow the line 100% of the time. If you are chief cook in your house, it makes it that much tougher. I cook for a living, and it is really hard to not get a taste every now and again. Stay the course, get your HRM, do your 5k its all good.

Oh Amy can I also say my son baked 4 different loaves of bread today (experimenting) and I just had a taste of all 4 :o

It's ok I will live and so will you I am proud of all of us :)

I searched c25k just now and found my own thread that I'd abandoned and forgotten. You guys are so awesome about motivating and I just went and left ya hanging. I'm so sorry!! Thank you for wrapping your arms around me. I need it sometimes.
