Post op day 3 question!

I'm post op just over 48 hrs. I feel fantastic!! The first 24 hrs were rough. My throat hurt and I was throwing up a lot, and the gas in my stomach wasn't moving much even with walking, I was starting to wonder what I had done, than 36 hrs rolled around and I started burping and farting and they gave us water and apple juice. Oh man it felt great!! I also drank some watered down Gatorade and that perked me up!! Dr Garcia and Dr Luna are an incredible team!! I have never been so well taken care of in my life! I'm currently back in the hotel after spending the last 2 days in Florence Hospital, my staples are out along with my drain. I drank an entire bowl of broth in about 10-15 mins. I'm wondering if that's normal. Should I be able to drink that much without getting sick or feeling overly full? I've been wondering if they even removed my stomach. Lol, I don't want to push it but has anyone else wondered about that or is it just me??

Okay good to know!! I really was thinking for a minute if they even did anything. Something happened with Melissa's printer so she's supposed to be emailing our post op diet papers to us but none of us have got them yet, so I'm anxious to read what we're supposed to be doing. I got home tomorrow. Hope the plane ride goes smooth.
