Hey everyone. I'm new to the board and just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Katie, I'm 29 years old and from Knoxville, TN. Right now I'm still in the process of jumping through hoops for my insurance approval, but I'm hoping to be sleeved in June or July! I'm nervous, but mostly excited. I look forward to getting to know some people who are going through this journey too.

Hi! Thanks for responding. It's nice to see someone from the same area on here. I'm going to Dr. Ray at Blount Memorial in Alcoa. I almost went to Boyce, but after I went to both seminars I just felt like Dr. Ray was a better fit for me. I liked him instantly. I do know several people that went to Dr. Boyce though and had great experiences. Congrats on getting a surgery date! I'm hoping mine is around that same time. If you need someone to talk to, I'm here!
