Hello-
I'm new here, my surgery is 4 days away and the last two days I've had a scratchy throat and a little popping in my ears. No coughing or nasal congestion, but I'm worried what will happen if I get more symptoms? Will they postpone? I think I might stave off this cold and will be drinking airborne until the day of surgery hoping to keep healthy. Also, I'm very scared of the surgery itself, it's become more real to me as the days approach. I keep telling myself I have had 3 surgeries in my life as well as given natural child birth, this should be a cake walk! But alas, I am still scared. Excited for the future, but worried. Any advice would REALLY help me out! Plus... I would like to meet my first fellow sleeve friends.
. I'm 28, HW 240, CW 231, I have a three (almost 4 year old) daughter who is my best friend and who I'm hoping will also benefit from this surgery by learning a healthy way of life.
