K. I've been highly depressed lately and have been slacking. I was sleeved on jan 14th. I haven't lost in 3 weeks. I was doing so well then got depressed and just been "tasting" way too much. I also work at Starbucks and got my coffee addiction back. Has anyone gone/going through this? If so what have/are you doing to get back on track? Thanks

Ok I'm glad that I'm not the only one in the world. I was really beating myself up about it and have just been in the worst mood. It's such a horrible feeling to be going through this ;( I hope we pass it too. I feel like I'm cheating myself and it's really getting to me but I don't know why I just don't put it (food) down.. Ugh

one day at a time. We have issues with food. I for one am an addict! I eat/ate just because. At first it was to rebel against someone who said to stop eating so much or don't eat that it is not good for you. then I ate because I found comfort in food. It was the only thing I could control 100% then I ate because of depression then I ate because... and the list goes on. I am an addict. I am now struggleing to find a new addiction becasue I sitll want to eat. I love food. The smell, taste and the way it looks when it is prepared well.

So this is me trying to find a new addiction...hiking, gardening, working to much, sex, shopping.... none have stuck. It gets dark or light and some activites have to stop. Working too many hours drives my kids crazy and I get too tired so I eat bad stuff. My next choice is going to be joining a gym becasue while I could shop I can't afford to keep doing it the way I spend and buying stuff means I end up with a house full of junk cuz clothes won't fit long.

Well I will try the gym, you might want to find your new focus or addiction if you are like me and need a substitue. GOOD LUCK!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
