Who all gets paid?

Recommended Posts

So I want to get plastics in the future, at least an arm lift. Right now it looks like I have utters hanging from my upper and and, yeah, I know that skin's not going anywhere.

Is self pay plastics just like other medical bills where you have to pay a bill for the surgeon, the hospital, and the anesthesiologist? Or is there an all inclusive fee?

I would think it would vary by practice. It would depend on if the surgery was being performed in a surgicenter or a hospital. A surgicenter might group some of the fees, where as a hospital would bill separately.

Good luck!

If you have it done in the USA, it is very likely to be done on an outpatient basis. I have gone to 3 consults and the quote works this way in all cases:

surgeon and facilty fee is one bill

anethesia is a separate bill, but estimate is given by surgeon based on estimated surgical time

All of them have you buy the compression garments separately.

I expect my insurance should pay for the bloodwork and prescriptions.

If you go out of country, they tend to be quoted as all inclusive and I estimate cost half to a third of the cost of USA based surgery.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
