I was released to eat whatever I wanted by 6 weeks post op.

My doc said after 9 weeks it's ok to slowly introduce nuts and fresh fruits and veggies. Everyone clearly has different orders so I would check with your doc or nutritionist.

My nutritionist told me that I could eat anything now, however, I have been reluctant to eat things like nuts, salads, and uncooked veggies since they are harder to digest.

When is it okay to eat nuts, such as almonds or peanuts? Is trail mix okay, or honey oat granola bars?
