Why are we suddenly getting all the XXX spam? It seems like we have gotten much more than usual, lately.

This is getting ridiculous. We've gotten several bits of XXX spam in the last several minutes.

There's no easy answer to the question of why, because who knows. It could be people doing it (yes, companies pay people to do that) for holiday money, or it could be that LBT is now showing up for crawlers in places that it never did before - which can happen just because a board grows, gets more hits, and shows up higher on the list.

It's nothing we've changed. Any changes are coming from the outsid world.

Nobody is totally exempt from spam including active boards like this one. I get emails from Nigeria that link to a login ID I have a recipe board????

It too bad that we can not put our hands on the "nice" people who do this stuff. I might like to "shake" their ..... hand .....

I have a blog which currently has a list of 129 members. Almost all of them who have joined have something they want to sell. My website manager deletes the ones who are pushing pornography.
