Nausea after drinking protein

I'll be starting my 2 week preop diet on April 30th for my May 15th sleeve date. I've been trying to replace one meal a day with a Protein shake to help get me ready. I'm noticing i'm getting nauseous after I drink a Protein Shake. I've tried 4 or so different kinds all with the same results. The only one I haven't had a problem with is nectar, Fuzzy Navel. Has anyone else experienced this ?

Thanks,

Missy

I have that issue with low quality proteins. If I'm getting in quality stuff I feel fine, not sure what it is or what's processed differently.

Nectar is a high quality protein. So is Isopure and Premier. I had trouble with all if them pre-op. no problems post-op. I had a Hiatal Hernia, common in obese people, that made it back up. It was repaired at the same time as my sleeve surgery. So it solved my problem.

Thanks - I feel better knowing it's not just me. I love the Nectar, maybe i'll just stick to that.

I am 10 days post-op & Unjury whey and soy protein powder makes me extremely nauseated. Thought it was the whey but soy did the same today. Now I'm at a loss to why.
