Gallbladder Cleanse

Been having some mild discomfort and was wondering if anyone has done a cleanse. Did it help? My insurance has an exclusion for gallbladder, so no coverage for treatment.

Thanks in advance!

I can understand them having an exclusion for gallbladder "treatment", but what about gallbladder removal? That would seem absurd!!

Years ago, I was having severe gallbladder attacks (no ultrasound ever showed that I had gallstones though) and I was told I would need to have it removed. I didn't want to do that so I purchased this product called "Gall Cleanse". I'm not sure if it REALLY did anything, but I never had an attack in the 9 months that I used it.

I never did have it removed BTW.

Honestly I would look into having it removed. I can't imagine insurance wouldn't cover the surgery to remove it. 6wks after I had my son I started having attacks. Within 6wks it got so bad that on the way to the hospital I was so completely out of it I couldn't really tell what was going on. Getting ti removed was the best day ever.

I was a self pay surgery. No insurance. When I finally did get insurance, the screening process picked up the meds I took post op. Instant exclusion for surgery or treatment.

I would search for a natural cleanse on this topic!

Try not to have it removed if you can help it.

Just my 2 cents worth...
