How soon after surgery will I be able to take my maintenance meds? I take synthroid, pain med, and muscle relaxers. I have RA so I have to be able to take them when it is really bad

Ask your Dr. My Dr said I could take mine just space the timing out when taking them.

I crushed my synthroid and took liquid pain meds although I needn't use them all the time, I also kept bottles of liquid tylenol for extra pains and head aches etc.. If your stuff is time release you'll maybe need an option you can crush other than that or a liquid form of the same represcribed for the length you'll need to do this.

I really didn't have any problem swallowing pills the day after surgery.
