Ashley,

Its not so bad. I am on my 8th day. My surgery is March 12. I had a bit of a headache for the first 2 days but that went away.

Try to drink as much Water as you can. That helped me. ;) I just joined this forum yesterday. So I am new too!

Good luck with everything!

Jacquie

Ashley i am on day 3 of my liquid diet and am ok....not really hungry but am missing real food. drinking lots of water seems to help. surgery date is the 18th and can't wait. let me know how you are doing and keep thinking how good you will feel after......and look too:):)

My doctor does not have us start the liquid diet until AFTER the surgery. Why would you need to start weeks before? I was always curious.

My dr said to shrink my fatty liver.

I start my full liquid phase diet today. Any suggestions?? Do a lot of people have problems tolerating dairy?

Just go slow and see how things settle I'm sure your doc gave you approved foods. Some People say that dairy bothers them right after its hard to say if that's so or not, because honestly your digestive tract is going be a mess in the first couple of weeks.

Cream Soups are good like chicken just strain them first :)
