Anesthesia

Anyone else out there nervous about anesthesia? I have my psychology consult today which is my last required appt before scheduling surgery. I am so excited for the surgery and beyond ready for the change. However the thought of anesthesia is making me nervous. Thoughts?

I am. I always am nervous about anesthesia. I've never had any problems with it yet, so I think it will be okay. I think part of my problem is that I'm a control freak and I hate giving up control of my body :/

I've never thought of it that way. I tend yo like to have control because it gives me comfort and security. Lets me know things are ok and are being done right. Thanks for bringing that up. I think i watch too many medical shows and freak myself out as well.
