I am having my sleeve surgery on March 11th and I am very exicted. I am just checking to see if anyone else in the great state of Florida is also having surgery in March. I live near Sarasota and have lived here for about 3 years. I moved to Florida from Pennsylivania and I am loving the beaches and beautiful weather. I started my pre-op diet 7 days ago and have lost 12 pounds so far. If you are interested in making a connection let me know. Hope to hear from you.

I will be having my surgery in april sometime, depends on how long it takes insurance to approve it. Did your doctor tell you to do a 2 weeks liquid diet pre-op

Hi there and good luck on your upcoming WLS. No my dr. did not have me do a 2 week liquid pre-op diet. I see that some doctors do. I am amazed at how different these doctors can be. I past week in a half I have been on a liver detox diet using regular food that my dietition told me to eat. Since I am in my last week before my surgery I am not allowed white potatoes, caffeine of any kind ie: coffee, tea, diet soda and candy or anything with chocolate. So, I have been drinking water, decaf coffee and tea, water with crytsal light and caffeine free root beer. I sure hope this helps, Since you are still a month away I am sure your surgeon or the dietition that works with your surgeon will be letting you know what to eat the last 2 weeks before your surgery. How are you doing with your sleeve? Did you go to Dr Sebastien? I did. I also live in your area as well. Let me know if I can be of assistance. I'm 13+ months out from my sleeve and almost at goal.
