Soft serve ice cream

Did anyone have softserve sugar free ice cream in stage two liquids?

I had regular ice cream. Had a few stomach gurgles, but nothing more than that. But I must add that it was only a tablespoon full. At the time I still wasn't able to eat much of anything at all in volume.

My doc said stay away from ice cream! It goes down great she says but it's very easy to eat too much!

I had about a tablespoon of Clemmys chocolate ice cream in that stage its gluten free n sugar free i believe n delicious. Has some carbs though if I remember correctly but at that point I was willing to go with it. :)

I agree with Hazel... It isn't a good option at 2 weeks post op and it will be easy to eat more than you intend to. Week 2 to 4 was the hardest for me, that was my purée phase, so I understand the options don't seem as tasty but you can get by. Try to stick with more nutritious options.
