The only way I see my weight loss if I have my son take a pic but looking in the mirror it's like I don't kno my clothes are to big I have to pair of pants I can fit now.. In total I've lost 42 I'm 5'8 so the more I lost I look smaller then what my actual weight is so I've been told before surgery .. I put on a pair of pants today that I only wear once in a while. When my coworker told me that they looked really loose on me, that's when I went and looked in the mirror and saw just how loose they were. I like my jeans tight on my body and I felt like a hobo in these. They are a little looser (not much) on my thights, but are super loose on my lower leg and loose on my backside. I have been only able to see the weight loss in my face, until today. I'm down 37 pounds since starting my nutrition visits in June. I now hate how these jeans look on me (loved them before), so I will be putting them in the "no longer wearing" pile that I am now starting.

I am with you. I am a month post surgery. I lost 27 pounds. However, I do not see the lost. My husband say he can really see in my face. Thankful for the 27 pounds, but I want to look in the mirror and say "Dang". But I know it will come!

You look great and you can definitely tell!!!! Big difference! I'm 4'11 and somehow I carry my weigh well. My fiancé had no clue I weighed as much as I did. In fact he was shocked when I told him my current weight and how many pounds I have lost. Keep rocking your sleeve!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
