Rockin' My Sleeve

Recommended Posts

So I am 29yrs old. 5ft 11in. My start weight before surgery in Jan 30th was 291. Today I got 3times on the scale I been using, and my weight was 257.4 I am so happy and very excited. So proud to have lost 34lbs in just 5days. It's not easy trust me. But my secret is, get up from that bed and walk. Walk walk n walk. N drink lots of Water. On the 3rd day I started to power walk cuz I felt so much better. Can't wait to hit the 40's! Good luck to all just wanted to share this with all.

Wow love hearing how well its going for you, I've been so sleepy after a couple of hours that I just give in and lay down. I get a few hours asleep then back up walking through the house even at 3 am in the morning if need be. I haven't found anything comfortable enough to wear around my stomach to go out for a walk in the fresh air but want to try that this week. Thanks for all the positive feed back :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
