where should my port go?

I am only 4'11" and very short waisted, I am worried that my port may be uncomfortable, is there a preferred placement area for short waisted people?? What is your experience do you all feel your port when you bend, move or sit?

Well, my surgeon placed my port in between my breasts. Just below the breastbone. Of late, I am finding it kind of uncomfortable, but then I imagine it at my waist or elsewhere and I kind of think this is the best of two evils.

I'd like to hear of other placements.

But my guy put it smack in the middle and just below my breastbone.

PS, I am just shy of 6 feet and long waisted, so I think waistline might have been worst for me.

Mine is on my left side about 3 inches under my breast. So far it has given me no problems at all. I can do sit ups or anything else. I'm 5'7", hope this helps and good luck on your banding.
