Help! Belly pain

When I was trying to lay in bed I got a searing pain right down the middle of my stomach(which is still sore) and now I've had pain in my left side all day(like a running cramp only a little worse). I am one week post op, has anyone else had these problems? What caused it?

I would call your surgeon right away. It could be just muscle pain, but ir is much better to play it safe. Good luck!

Ditto. It was just a little over a week out I started my leak symptoms only my pain was in the chest. My leak was very high. It's always better to play it safe! It could just be a torn internal stitch or muscle pain, so dont panic, but call your surgeon :) keep us posted!

Thank you everyone, just talked to my surgeons office and they said both the burning pain in the middle and the other pain in the side are very normal and no worries unless there is severe nausea, or a change in bowel movements
