2 days before: Crystal Light Lemonade OK?

Silly question but chicken broth and crystal light lemonade will be my staples for the 2 day clear liquid diet prior to surgery. Is this OK? Any other suggestions?

Good luck to you both. I also had hiatal hernia repaired at the same time and I will tell you I was miserable that first week. I just barely got back to sleeping in my bed...I lived in the recliner for 4weeks . No trouble with vomiting.. a little nausea the 2nd week but I restarted my protonix and that calmed things down. Appetite started to come back a week after.

It prep really didnt bother me at all because I just kept telling myself it wasnt f orever ..at work I am so busy it didnt phase me at all ...the weekends were ruff ..I lived on wonton soup without the wontons of course :)...good luck
