Let me add. I will be 50 Monday and really wanted to have the surgery before that. I stopped smoking and preparing for wls nearly 2 years ago. I went to my first seminar Oct of 2011. Pain my initial fee April of 2012. I had my first of 6 appointments in June. Once I jumped through many hoops I discovered I couldn't have the RNY. I have an auto immune disease and have to be able to take NSAIDS and occasionally steroids. Once I finishes the 6 months I was told that although Medicare had approved the surgery Arkansas hasn't. I was sent home with my surgery postponed indefinitely. I was crushed! I guess that's about it! LOL now I am a little nervous.
