Tofu I'm on a kick

It's amazing they can make this stuff into anything. This is spicy chicken (really tofu) with vegies. This may be old to some but it's all new to me. I always though no way would I eat that. It's really good.

Now I can order chinese when everyone in the office does.

I am totally with you! I recently ate dinner with my family at a korean restaurant and ate a wonderful spicy korean soup made with very soft tofu. I actually had this while still on my soft foods diet. Tofu is pretty good if you give it a chance.

Tofu is an awesome food I wish my kids still liked it :( now when I make it I get some looks...

Anyway when I cook it I always "dry fry" after you can put a sauce if you like. But I also like to just eat it as a snack just like that :)

@stomlin75 did you order that tofu broccoli somewhere or was it something you made at home? I have never tried tofu and I'm one of those one that has always said "no way am I gunna eat that" now im curious. If you have any recipie's you can share that would be awesome. Thanks in advance :}

I love tofu! I can never get the same texture that the Chinese food places get with out flash frying though :( I pan fry it usually as said above to get some crunch and some of the water out and then add sauce. There are great recipes on Pinterest for tofu if anyone is interested.

That's kinda what dry frying is I cut up my tofu and slow fry it with no oil or butter on a non stick griddle or you can use a cast iron pan and fry it on a lower heat to get the moisture out and crisp it up.
