Travel After Surgery

How long before you were able to go on vacation with your family? How long was it before you were out and about after your surgery? How long before you went back to work? I am trying to plan a trip for my anniversary and I want to see if I will have to push the trip. I am tenatively scheduled for my surgery for the first week of February, I am still waiting on final insurance approval.
