Drink question

I was sleeved one month ago today and have finally found a protein shake I can tolerate Pure Protein from Sam's). My question is, do I treat it like a meal and not drink anything else 30 minutes before and after? I'm asking because my stomach has been so sensitive to everything I've eaten.

I don't have the answer, but I am treating it as a meal. However, the shake I'm having is not even as thick as chocolate milk, so it's a question I want to ask the NUT next week. It seems to me this would go right through like any liquid.

I do, I figure I want it to have a bit of time to absorb before flushing my intestines with water. That's not docs orders or anything, just my reasoning.

I've never been told to treat it as a meal, but I do; especially in the morning bc a shake is my breakfast.

Yeah treat it like a meal hunny as you want the protein to have time to absorb without flushing it through with fluids.

Thanks y'all. It seems like that was the only thing I forgot to ask the nutritionist this week.
