That really bites. I have a cough but I'm nearly a year out. Maybe putting a pillow on your stomach when you cough would help, that's what I'd do. I'd see if doc would get you a good cough suppressant or whatever else he thinks.

I walk everywhere with a pillow. I'm still very sore. I can't wait till this bug passes. I will be ready to hit the gym by then. I will ask my MD for a good suppressant.

Thanks for the idea.

Rub Vicks on your feet, then put socks in before bed... Your cough will go away..not sure why it works but it does.

So sorry for you. I purchased a belly band from JCP for my surgery. From experience, it holds it all together. My Mom taught me this lil trick, don't know how I made it without one.

Hey :)

I looked up my approved meds list from my Dr.

You can take dimetapp, robitussin, or delsym

I prefer Delsym it works for 12 hours and doesn't burn going down its a smooth liquid.

Just nothing with aspirin or NSAID like Motrin, advil, pamprin...those are a no no

Delsym! Yes please. Or hydro condone is also a cough suppressant. My daughter has had it for. Week and now I have flu a. Ugh. Thank you tamiflu and delsym!
