Liquid Diet - 4 weeks PRE surgery plus 6 weeks POST surgery

Even though this sounds dauntung...I can do it. Also, odd development, I'm supposed to start my 12 weeks of nutritional supervised dieting but today the clinic said my insurance has a clause that if you've had 6 months supervised dieting in the past 5 years and are still obese, then you can skip that and go straight to bariatric program...I could be sleeved in 2-3 months instead of 5-6, sounds too good to be true (I had supervised dieting via my primary doctor for 6 consecutive months in 2009-2010). We shall see, my primary is faxing the info to the clinic tomorrow.

That's a hell of a long time to be on liquids. UGH. I didn't have to do a pre-op diet, and only had to do 2 weeks of liquids after surgery. Good Luck with that

I didn't have to do a pre-op diet, and only had to do 2 weeks of liquids after surgery.

Good Luck with that :(
