protein!

I am wondering about the absorption of proteins. I wanna know; if i drink my protein shakes, which are protein isolate based. And later i eat a serving of chilli in which, the can says it has 14 grams of protein, does that protein absorb the same as the protein isolate?

Not exactly. whey Protein isolate the easiest protein for the body to digest. In fact the process of micro filtering whey assures that only highly bioavailable Proteins are left.

Dense meats on the other hand take much longer to digest. Red meats in particular are very hard on the digestive system.

Granted they are both great quality proteins. But the whey is more quickly absorbed , whereas meats will keep you satiated linger.
