After almost a long hard year of trying to lose weight on my own again I decided to have the sleeve. I was able to lose 43 lbs however gained back 10. Its been a 12 year up and down weight journey that is taking a toll on my body. I did all my pre open tests last year everything is good to go just need psych eval and thats it I will be sleeved hopefully by my 41st bday which is Jan 31. That will be my gift to myself.

Me too. This time 2yrs ago I wouldn't hv ever considered surgery but 60 lbs later n lowest self esteem ever I am ready to take control of my life.
