1/2 way through 6 months

I am new to the boards, but I have been lurking. I am hoping that my insurance will approve me. I didn't decide on having surgery lightly. I am half way through the six month process, and it seems like forever. I have had my first appointments and my insurance approved the additional psych testing. I hope it is a good sign.

I have a blog, and I plan to blog my way through the process. I am an English teacher and writing is cathartic for me. On my last post, I explained why I made this decision.

I am interested in hearing any advice to keep me on track until the end of March when I am done with the six month doctor supervised "diet."

Glad I took those extra practice days because I would have seriously injured myself by not eating properly....CHEW CHEW CHEW!!!! ;)
