men lose quicker than woman period!! lol They have more muscle which burns more fat

Yes us men do usually lose faster because we have a higher muscles mass than most women

I was a low bmi-er at 33 and reach goal in three months. I can't seem to gain no matter what I eat. For me it's just a matter of getting enough protein.

What was your starting weight and goal?

mattr2, I cant speak for it personally but I have heard that several have supplemented with creatin and stepped up the calorie intake with energy Protein powders however you need to be active or moving Iron to use the creatin as it was designed (to build muscle)

D

Men have 50% more muscle than women. That alone says they will lose faster. Basic anatomy and physiology.
